Bonnie Jeanne Leigh; loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, left this Earth and went to heaven on June 14, 2022 at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, James.

She was born in Butte, Montana on May 4, 1941, to Delbert Sylvester and Betty Rae Ready. She graduated from Anchorage High School in Anchorage, Alaska in 1959. She worked for over 30 years at Tacoma Public Schools serving in the Accounts Payable department.

Bonnie had such love and kindness for everyone she interacted with. She had the ability to make those around her feel welcome, appreciated, and loved. She enjoyed many trips to Ocean Shores, playing the slots at the casino with her sister and friends, and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks.

Bonnie loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family. She is survived by her daughter Shera Adams (John), son James Leigh (Kara Hefley), sister Katherine Held, granddaughter Megan Adams (Matt Sherls) and beloved grand-dogs Ollie, Rainie, Shadow, and Maisey.
