Bobby Lee Lott Jr.

Bobby Lee Lott Jr., 84, of Warrenton, GA, McDuffie County, passed away on November 27,
2023, in Thousand Oak, CA. He was born on September 6, 1939.

Bobby, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and brother-in-law, was
known for his hardworking nature, creativity, dedication, and compassion.
Bobby is survived by his sisters, Pauline Brown-Allen and Magdalene Lott William; daughters,
Anna McNutt (Samuel) and Knechele Lott-Reed; sons, Bobby L. Lott Jr., Darren T. Lott (Karen)
and Dwaynne Lott (Karolina); 25 grandchildren; and 41great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Lee Sr.; mother, Eloise Broomfield; wife, Annie
Mae Barnwell; sister, Agnes Lott-Phyall; brothers, Willie Walter Lott, Robert L. Lott, and John
Edward Lott.

Bobby served in the U.S. Army from June 13, 1960, to June 30, 1980, and retired as a
Sergeant First Class. His military associations were a significant part of his life, and he proudly
served his country.

After his military service, Bobby began his career at Tahoma Visita Village on October 1, 1980,
as the Head of Maintenance. Bobby dedicated his time and skills to the organization until his
retirement on August 30, 2013.

In his free time, Bobby enjoyed fishing and camping. He was an incredible craftsman and an
avid Mariners, WSU football, and Seahawk fan. These hobbies and activities brought him joy,
relaxation, and bonding time with his family. He was also known for his beautiful voice; Bobby
was musically talented.

A graveside service will be held on December 19th at 1 p.m. at New Tacoma Cemetery at 9212
Chambers Creek Rd. W. New Tacoma Cemeteries are handling the funeral arrangements.
Bobby Lee Lott Jr. will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy
of love, hard work, creativity, dedication, and compassion will forever be cherished by all whose
life he touched.
