Anna passed away on August 23rd, 2025, at the age of 82. She was born August 19th, 1943, in Republic, Washington, to Joseph and Gladys Cotton. She grew up with one brother, Kevin. She went to Chief Sealth High School and graduated with the Class of 1961.

Anna married Daniel Rose in Seattle, Washington. Later, in 1985, she married Ronald Fairley in Soap Lake, Washington. She was blessed with four children, daughters Ethel, Suzanne, and Crystal; and a son Rodney.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Gladys Cotton; her brother Kevin Joseph Cotton; and her son Rodney Rose. She is survived by her daughters Ethel (Mark) Iverson, Suzanne (James) Taylor, and Crystal Adams; her granddaughters Sierra Taylor and Sarah Iverson; and grandsons Michael Taylor and Samuel Iverson.

The family would like to thank Marcus Hollingworth for loving our mother as your own. She loved and appreciated you dearly. Mary Hodgson for taking care of her when we no longer were able, not just because it was your job but because you and your staff truly loved her as your own. Luci Brown for showing God's love and dedication, not just serving but friendship.

Anna loved crocheting as it helped her relax. She enjoyed reading and studying the Bible for personal and spiritual growth. Her perfect day would have been to wake up with her Bible and a cup of coffee, and spending time with Jesus. She loved spreading His word with her family, especially her grandbabies. Anna knew that through Christ, all things were possible. Anna was in awe at the sight of God's Creation, from watching the clouds pass by and looking for different shapes and figures, to watching the leaves turn into beautiful colors in the fall. She loved the smell of the rain in the spring followed by the new life that it brought. She loved listening to old hymns and Elvis, and if the hymns were sung by Elvis, all the better.

There are so many memories about Anna that will be remembered. How she was a mother to so many of her children's friends and treated them like they were her own. She was a strong, loving, determined, fearless woman, and she taught her children to stand on their own two feet. She would open her door to anyone in need. She would speak up for the weak and broken-hearted. Anna would Love every animal her children would bring home and put in her lap, because they know once she held it, she couldn't Say NO!

She made sure that her kids knew that true love was unconditional and colorblind. She always said, "It's better to risk being hurt than to never know what love truly feels like." She worked hard to provide for her children even without a man around. even when the doctors

said she shouldn't. She loved her family, honored her parents, looked out for her brother and was a loyal and loving friend. She gave and loved freely without limit

She was content with the simple things in life. Jesus, Family, Friend, pets and coffee. As long as she had those things, she knew everything else would fall into place.

This is who our mommy was. All the wonderful memories we have from childhood are wrapped up in her. May we never forget and hold our memories of her close to our hearts, so they live on.
