Anna Leena Archer was born, April 29, 1929, in Turku, Finland, to Aleksanteri Kekki, and Ida Alexsandra Kekki (Manninen). Leena left this world peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on February 28, 2024, in Tacoma, Washington, at age 94.

She immigrated from Helsinki, Finland, in 1957 to Toronto, Canada. She left Canada to the United States in 1965 and settled in Portland, Oregon, where she raised her family. Later, she lived and worked in Southern California for many years, and retired back in Washington State.

She loved school, it allowed her to be alone away from her 6 siblings, whom she had to babysit often. She loved music and traveling and traveled back to Finland several times. While living in the United States, she traveled throughout the western United States.

She married Reino Kaija in Finland and later married Gene Archer, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was baptized on July 11, 2018, at 89 years old, into the Church of Christ in Tacoma. She was an active member of the Church of Christ at the time of her death.

She is survived by her siblings in Finland, brother Pekka Kekki, sister Piia Tondi. Son Mark (Gwen) Kaija, daughter Monica Kaija, grandchildren: Loretta Larson, Anna-Méchel (Markell) Walker, Aliysha Kaija (Michael Walker) and Kaija Smith. 11 great grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, Tanner, LeiLani, Camaria, Silas, Mia, Kai, Syron, Maija, Maikä and 5 great great grandchildren.
